Rent an Apartment

As a prospective AJ Clarke tenant or resident new to the City of New York, you may find the following resources helpful.

Required Documentation for each Applicant:

  1. Completely filled in and signed application
  2. Copy of government issued ID (passport or driver’s license)
  3. Employment letter with salary, position & length of employment (or detailed Accountant’s letter if self-employed).
  4. Two most recent pay stubs
  5. Summary page of 2 most recent bank statements

Required Documentation for Guarantor:

  1. Completely filled in and signed application
  2. Two most recent tax returns (first and last page only)
  3. Summary page of the most recent statement for all bank accounts
  4. Copy of photo ID (passport or driver’s license)
  5. Employment letter with salary and job position OR 2 recent paystubs
Credit check fee of $20.00 per applicant and per guarantor, which can be paid by cash or credit card.
